objectivity

Taking a position according to the facts only and not letting personal opinion factor in.

observation

A fact or instance you have noticed in your results.

open questions

Questions which encourage a response other than ‘yes’ or ‘no’.
compare closed questions

opinion

A personal view or judgement about something, which may or may not be based on fact or knowledge.

original work

Work that has been researched, planned and written in a new way.

A process of writing down what you know, what you think the main issues are, your questions and what you still need to find out.
