Term Description
qualitative

This is to measure an experience or situation by their quality rather than by the facts of the experience. 
compare quantitative

quantitative

This is information that can be shown in numbers and amounts. Usually uses standard measurements so that the results are easy to compare.
compare qualitative

questionnaire

A list of questions designed to find out specific information. The results can then be analysed using quantitative or qualitative methods.

quotation

A short selection (normally a sentence or two) that is taken from someone else’s writing and reproduced exactly, using the same words and punctuation as the original author.
