| qualitative |
This is to measure an experience or situation by their quality rather than by the facts of the experience. |
| quantitative |
This is information that can be shown in numbers and amounts. Usually uses standard measurements so that the results are easy to compare. |
| questionnaire |
A list of questions designed to find out specific information. The results can then be analysed using quantitative or qualitative methods. |
| quotation |
A short selection (normally a sentence or two) that is taken from someone else’s writing and reproduced exactly, using the same words and punctuation as the original author. |
